Forgot your OMGBD password? Fixes sorted by symptom
Forgetting a password is not a big problem in itself; the trouble starts when the reset gets stuck halfway: the OTP never arrives, the number isn't recognised, or the new password still won't let you in. This page takes each of those sticking points separately. Jump to the question that matches your screen; each one opens with a short answer, then the steps.
I don't remember my password. Where do I start the reset?
Short answer: only from the official lobby's login page.
- Open the lobby with this site's "official lobby" button, not from search results or a link someone sent you.
- Under the login form, look for "Forgot password" or similar wording. The lobby's exact words may differ.
- Enter the mobile number you used when you registered.
- Type the code that arrives on the registered SIM, then enter your new password twice.
- When the reset is done, log out once and log back in with the new password to confirm everything works.
If the login page shows no reset option at all, don't go hunting for one elsewhere; tell lobby live chat directly that you've forgotten your password. Other login problems are covered in the login Q&A.
The OTP isn't arriving. What should I check?
Short answer: the cause is usually the SIM, the network or how the number was typed.
- Which SIM: on a dual-SIM phone the code may have landed in the other SIM's messages. Check the registered SIM is active.
- Network: weak signal can delay messages. Try switching airplane mode on and off once.
- Message folders: check your phone's spam or blocked messages too.
- Number format: country code or leading zero; check you entered it the way the lobby asks.
- Don't keep tapping: hammering "resend code" may make the lobby pause requests for a while. If the screen tells you to wait, wait.
If everything checks out and the code still doesn't come, send your registered number and a screenshot of what you see to live chat.
The lobby says "number not found". Is my account gone?
Short answer: usually you're trying a different number or the wrong site.
Ask yourself three questions. One: did you really register with this number, or with a family member's or an old SIM? Two: are you actually on the OMGBD lobby, or on another site that looks the same? How to check the address is in the official site guide. Three: if you registered with a username, is the lobby asking for that instead of a number?
If you still can't find it, don't open a new account. Your old balance won't move to a new account, and multiple accounts can complicate verification later. Instead, tell chat which number and name you think you used.
I set a new password. Why can't I log in?
Short answer: check whether your phone is filling in the old password for you.
- Browser or phone autofill may insert the old password. Clear the field and type the new one by hand.
- Capital and small letters may count as different. Check caps lock, and that your keyboard isn't set to Bangla.
- Watch for an accidental space at the end of the password.
- Try both the app and the browser. If one works, clear the saved data in the other.
Another common cause is typing into the wrong field. Some lobbies have separate tabs for number and username; you might be putting a username in the number field or the other way round. Look for such tabs at the top of the login form. If you opened the lobby from an old bookmark, check it's the real address too: on a fake page even the right password won't work, and whatever you enter goes to someone else.
If repeated wrong attempts make the lobby lock the account for a while, stop trying; screenshot the message and go to chat.
I no longer have the registered SIM. What now?
Short answer: first try to get the same number back from your operator.
If the SIM is lost or damaged, ask your operator's customer care whether you can get a replacement SIM with the same number; then codes will arrive as before. If the number has been closed for good, tell lobby live chat and ask what the next step is. For an idea of what identity information may be requested, see the verification guide. Share such details only in the lobby's own chat.
Someone is messaging me offering to "reset your password". Should I trust them?
Short answer: no. You do the reset yourself, inside the lobby.
- Never tell anyone your OTP, even someone claiming to be support. The code is only for typing into the lobby's reset field.
- If anyone asks for a fee to reset, it's a scam.
- Don't open "reset here" links someone sends you. Pages like that are typically built to steal numbers and codes. How to spot them: fake sites guide.
What should I write to support in one message?
If you just write "forgot my password", support has to ask you more questions. In lobby live chat, give it all at once: registered number or username, the step where you're stuck (code not arriving, number not recognised, or new password not working), app or browser, and a screenshot. Never type your password or OTP in the message. More examples are in the support guide.
Being locked out is stressful, but rushing into a new account or trusting a stranger isn't the answer. If you want to think about time and spending limits, see the responsible play page.
What makes a good new password?
Something you haven't used on any other site or wallet, and that can't be guessed from your name, birthday or mobile number. Mix letters and numbers, and if you write it down, keep it out of other people's reach.
Does a reset wipe my balance or history?
Changing the password only changes the key; the account stays the same. If you notice any mismatch in balance or history after a reset, screenshot it and tell lobby chat.
I was logged in on someone else's phone and want to change my password. What do I do?
Log in to the lobby from your own phone and change the password from the profile or security menu. If you don't remember it, follow the reset steps above. After the change, the old password shouldn't work any more.
I've forgotten my username too. Will the number alone work?
If the lobby accepts a reset by number, try that. If not, give chat your registered number and ask how to locate the account.
This site is not OMGBD's official site, only an unofficial guide; there is no login or account here. Password resets and support are only in the official lobby, and what the lobby states is final. 18+ only.
