Suspicious OMGBD link? Check it, and fix things if you already slipped
Opened a page and felt that something was not quite right? This page is for that moment. We have split the problem by where you are right now: you have not opened the link yet, the page is open in front of you, you have already typed in your details, or money has already gone. Find your situation and follow the steps. Remember, this is an independent guide site, not the official site; login and payments happen only inside the official lobby.
If the link says omgbd
A link can say OMGBD, omgbd or OMG BD and still be the wrong site. Read the full address, not the title. The guide you are on is omg6d.com. The lobby is only the one this page's button opens. A close spelling on a different address is a reason to close the tab.
I have not opened the link yet. What should I check before tapping?
This is the safest moment, because you have not lost anything. First think about where the link came from. If any of these match, do not tap it; open the lobby from your own bookmark or this guide's button instead:
- An SMS from an unknown number containing a shortened link.
- A link forwarded in a Facebook comment, Telegram group or WhatsApp chat.
- The message rushes you: "offer ends tonight", "your account will be closed".
- It says "the old address is closed, use this link from now on".
- A QR code on a poster or in a group — that is just a hidden link too.
The same rule applies when a friend sends it. Your friend may have been fooled and is passing it on without knowing.
The page is open. How do I check it is real in 30 seconds?
Even if it looks identical, do not type anything until you have done these checks:
- Tap the address bar and read the full address. One extra letter, a dash, or a look-alike character (such as l and 1) is enough.
- Compare it with your bookmark letter by letter. If it does not match, close the tab.
- Do not relax because of the padlock. It only means the connection is encrypted; fake sites get padlocks easily.
- Stop if the deposit page shows someone's personal bKash, Nagad or Rocket number. In the real lobby, deposits go through the method the cashier shows.
- If a login page asks for your wallet PIN, it is definitely fake.
Being near the top of search results does not make a page real; ads and fake pages can rank too. If you are unsure about the difference between the real lobby and this guide, see the Q&A on spotting the official lobby.
I typed my number or password on the wrong page. What now?
Do not wait; the first few minutes matter most. What to do depends on what you gave away:
- Only your mobile number: low risk, but stay alert for the next few days. A scammer can press "forgot password" on the real lobby so that a genuine code reaches your phone, then call saying "a code was sent to you by mistake, please read it out". Never tell anyone a code you did not request.
- Your password: go into the real lobby from your own bookmark and change it now. Change it anywhere else you used the same password.
- An OTP: change your password, then tell the lobby's live chat so unusual activity on the account gets noticed.
- Your wallet PIN: the most urgent case. Change the PIN in your wallet app immediately and call the wallet provider's official helpline.
What to say if someone calls claiming to be support is in the support Q&A.
I sent money, or they want a "withdrawal fee". What should I do?
To be straight with you: money sent to a fake site is hard to get back, but the faster you act, the better your chances.
- Do not send another taka, whatever they call it — "tax", "unlock charge", "verification fee".
- Contact the official customer service of the wallet you paid from, with the transaction ID.
- Keep screenshots, the number you paid and the chat history as proof.
- Avoid anyone who asks for a fee to "recover your money" — they are usually a second round of scammers.
Showing a big balance or big wins is an old fake-site trick; the number on screen is not held anywhere. The real lobby's support cannot take responsibility for these payments, because the money never reached them. Compare how real withdrawals work in the withdrawal Q&A. If someone posing as an "agent" wants deposits sent to a personal number, read the agent scam warning.
I installed an app from an unknown source. Is deleting it enough?
Deleting it is the first step, not the last. Fake apps often grab permissions to read SMS, draw over other apps or use accessibility features, which can be used to steal OTPs.
- Uninstall the app.
- In your phone settings, check Accessibility and "Special app access" for anything unfamiliar that is switched on, and turn it off.
- Change your password on the real lobby.
- In future, get the app only from the lobby's own button — for install problems see the app download fixes.
I cannot get into the real lobby. Should I look for another link?
No. Searching for other links after a failed login is the most common way people end up on fake sites. Try this order instead:
- Open it again from your bookmark or this guide's button.
- Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi, and try another browser.
- Work through the steps on the login problem fixes page.
- Wait a while and try again; once it opens, ask the lobby's live chat.
For news, check only @BD_OMGBD; do not trust addresses sent by handles with similar names. If you find a fake link, tell live chat where you saw it — it helps other players too.
Questions and answers
If there is a padlock next to the address, is the site safe?
No. The padlock only means the connection is encrypted. Fake sites get one too; trust the spelling of the address and your own bookmark.
A fake site promises a big bonus. What offers does the real lobby have?
The real lobby may show a free signup bonus or a 100% first-deposit match — terms as shown in the lobby. Be suspicious of "guaranteed wins" or offers that seem unbelievable.
Someone calling themselves "admin" is asking for my OTP. Should I give it?
Never. Real support does not ask for OTPs, PINs or passwords. Close the chat, open the lobby from your bookmark and tell live chat.
Is it fine to reach the lobby by scanning a QR code?
If the address that opens after scanning does not match your bookmark, do not type anything there.
A family member opened a fake link. What should we do?
Go through the "typed my details" steps above together, and set up a bookmark for the real lobby on their phone.
