OMGBD app not installing or not opening? Find your error and fix it

Almost every app problem we hear about traces back to one of three things: the file came from the wrong place, the download did not finish, or the phone is short on storage or memory. This page is organised by what you actually see on screen, so you can jump to your problem. One rule sits above everything else: the only safe source for the app is the Android or iOS button inside the official lobby. This guide site does not host or send any APK file.

First, are you using the right file?

Before trying any fix, answer one question: where did the file come from? If it came from the lobby's own button, carry on below. If it came from a Facebook group, a Telegram channel, a "mod" offer or an APK mirror site, stop. Delete it, and if you already installed it, uninstall it and change your lobby password from a trusted device. The fake sites guide explains why unofficial files are dangerous.

The normal way to get the app

1. Open the official lobby from the button on this page or your bookmark.
2. Find the Android or iOS option the lobby shows, usually in the header or on the home screen.
3. On Android, if the phone asks, allow installs from your browser for this one file.
4. On iPhone, follow whatever method the lobby describes.
5. Open the app and sign in with the mobile number you registered with.

"Install blocked" or "this file may be harmful"

Android shows this for any file that does not come from the Play Store, including genuine ones. If you are sure the file came from the lobby button, open your phone settings and allow "install unknown apps" for the browser you used, and only that browser. After installing, you can switch the permission off again. If you are not sure where the file came from, treat the warning as real and delete it.

"There was a problem parsing the package"

This almost always means the file is incomplete or does not match your phone. Try these in order:

1. Delete the downloaded file and get it again from the lobby button, on Wi-Fi or a stronger signal.
2. Make sure the download really finished before tapping it. Check your notification bar.
3. If an older version of the app is installed, uninstall it first.
4. Check your Android version. Very old versions may not run newer apps; the browser is your fallback.

Install stops halfway or says "not enough space"

Budget phones fill up fast with WhatsApp media and videos. Free up space by clearing old media and unused apps, then try again. Installing usually needs more free space than the file size itself, so leave some room.

The app opens, then closes straight away

• Restart the phone to free up memory, then open the app with nothing else running.
• Clear the app cache: Settings, Apps, the lobby app, Storage, Clear cache.
• If it still crashes, uninstall and install fresh from the lobby button.

Blank or white screen inside the app

This is usually a connection problem rather than an app problem. Switch between mobile data and Wi-Fi, or toggle airplane mode. If the screen stays blank only at the login step, see the login guide. More app details are on the app page.

iPhone: the app will not open or asks to "trust"

Follow the exact steps the lobby shows for iOS. If a profile or trust prompt appears that the lobby did not mention, stop and ask live chat before accepting it.

Can I just skip the app?

Yes. The lobby runs in your phone or computer browser with the same account and the same cashier. If the app will not cooperate, the browser is far safer than forcing an unknown file onto your phone.

When to contact live chat

If the file from the lobby button still fails after the steps above, open live chat in the lobby (in your browser) and send your phone model, your Android or iOS version, and a screenshot of the error. That saves several rounds of questions. If anyone offers a "special version" or "mod APK", refuse it — such files can read your SMS and steal OTPs.
