How do you play Golden Empire?
There are six reels on screen. The two outer reels are a little shorter and the four in the middle are taller; the game's rules describe this layout as 5-6-6-6-6-5. There are no fixed lines. Matching symbols on consecutive reels starting from the first reel on the left make a win, and the symbols can be in any row of each reel. According to the rules, there can be up to 32,400 ways to match.

How do golden frames and wilds work?
On reels two to five, some symbols are surrounded by a golden frame. When a framed symbol takes part in a win, it doesn't clear; it turns into a wild. The wild can stand in for any symbol except the scatter.
Each wild carries a number, or counter, showing how many more wins it can take part in before it goes. The counter drops after each match, and when it runs out the wild clears. The counter is usually linked to the size of the symbol that turned into the wild; check the game's help for the exact rule. Wilds don't land directly, they come only from golden frames. Keeping that in mind makes the screen easier to read.
An example: a framed symbol on the third reel is part of a winning match. It doesn't clear; it stays as a wild, and after new symbols drop it can help in the next match too, until its counter runs out. So if you see several steps of wins in one spin, that is the game's normal rule, not a fault.
When does the free game come in Golden Empire?
The free game comes from scatters. When enough scatters land together, the free game starts, and extra scatters add extra free games.
